Hi All
I have a 2010 D3. All was well until I changed the radio/cd changer where now the phone does'nt find the radio to connect via bluetooth. Any ideas ??
Will I have to change the bluetooth module in the boot or could it just be dodgy connection somewhere?
Any ideas are welcome
Thanks

If aftermarket, factory BT won’t work

You may wish to check ccf file says BT fitted if you have a gap iid
Otherwise a new BT unit maybe sensible. Yours being late may have the D4 unit fitted already. Or it would be worth while if it isn’t. Different power connector.

Hi Jim
It’s worth removing the connection from your phone and then establishing a new connection. If that doesn’t work try the fuse for the Bluetooth module isn’t blown.Must stop buying shiny toys....

yes it sounds great but what is it and where is it ??
I will check the fuse in the morning if I can find the right one
I had the car from nearly new and have to say it has been great in every aspect until about now - things need looking at like the BT - rear windows not working and another wheel bearing change overdue. Bur really for 12 years plus its been a good motor. I had an lpg conversion done 12 years ago and that has been faultless. i know some of you wont like the idea , but its been pretty good as most time spent in France anyway where lpg is plentiful.

You would need a gap iid tool to check it. Do you have one?

Hi again
I cannot find a fuse for the BT module so am now guessing the module is u/s?
Best maybe to get a new module perhaps?

To be honest I don't think it would be the fuse. If the fuse had failed, you would get no sound (e.g radio) from the speakers. This is the usual way they fail.
That is also a hint that a new module may not fix your issue, but worth trying.
First have a look at the unit in the boot, right side to see if it has square corners or rounded.
See pics below. Worth getting a replacement square unit in any case, but power connector is different
