Connector in Battery Area
I have some issues with my battery discharging even having replaced it and gone through the new battery routine on the Gap tool.
There is this 2 wire lead and plug floating around. Anyone know what it does?

You can't entirely depend on colours on screen.
Is that Green with Red trace and is the second all black or does it have a trace colour in it?
Also have you measured the quiescent current as an actual value, if so does it drop after the car goes fully to sleep?A visitor from the dark side, my other vehicle is an is still an EV. Strictly speaking its SWMBO.

probably the transit connector.
Used for the time between the car being built, and being delivered to the dealer/first owner

I believe this has been asked many times before!
It is the showroom trickle charger port. Not needed once the VAT has been paid "Track day running - Don't put your foot back on the accelerator until your absolutely sure you don't have to take it off again"

That would make sense as most unused plugs would have a blanking socket from the factory.A visitor from the dark side, my other vehicle is an is still an EV. Strictly speaking its SWMBO.

Thanks all and Hairy, that is my next plan im going to give it a week of driving to see if it settles itself after the battery reset procedure and investigate from there.

No. It’s not a charger port.
It connects to a transit relay fitted to the battery. It isolates the battery until the ignition is switched on.
This prevents the battery from draining, but still allows the car to be driven onto transporters

I myself did wonder what it was when i was putting my intake manifolds in but as it was not in my photos of stuff removed i ignored it, tucked it out if the way and left it! Bit like the bits i always have left over after getting into an engine.
