[For Sale] Old Swede in need of new home !

If anyone fancies a bit of a project then this might be of interest. It’s my son’s Saab 2002 SE Turbo he had at University. He finished a couple of years ago, drove it for a year and then moved away. So it’s sat on our drive. My wife insists it has to go now, no room, pending a Series 2 arrival👍 it starts, stops and runs. Gearbox and engine good, interior and bodywork need TLC. No MOT and will need a couple of tyres and some brake pads. If I had the space I’d keep it. I’ve actually owned a number of old Saab Turbos in years gone by. This is a classic old school Saab Turbo, proper dash etc. Anyway if it was mint it would be £2500 all day but we want £500. Don’t forget no MOT so will need trailering. Thanks.

Wouldn’t need a trailer if it’s going straight to a pre-booked MOT. As long as it’s insured. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Ohh, I had one of these as a company car, a real sleeper car, quick but doesn’t shout about it 😉👍

Roomy, comfy, quiet as well 👍

Thanks Famousfive, I was in 2 minds to have it as a project but it was a couple of months too early, so glad you have made that decision for me. Good luck with it.

Bolloxs! I'd have had that. I've had many a SAAB and loved all of them. My best was a 9-5 Aero estate that Hirsch had had fun with. Bonkers car, but the ultimate Q car. Its mid range punch was staggering. Sold it to Abbot Racing.

Can I have second dibs if FF son realises it's not cool enough for him. Laughing Thumbs Up

Hi Moo. Sorry late reply. Certainly 2nd dibs to you. Will keep you informed. In some ways reading these comments I wish I had the space and time as would keep it. Saabs are one of the coolest brands around. A perfect Q car/sleeper 👍

Still have my MY02 convertible, same colour scheme. Absolutely love it, only comes out for the summer. Would have snapped your hand off if you were nearer, just for the spares!

Such a lovely car to 'waft' along in. Had many Saabs also before the LRs took over. A 9000CD then a bunch of 9-5's - saloons and estates. Never put a foot wrong.
