And I spoke too soon

just tidying up the cables I realised I had wrongly routed the RHS and had cable pressure against a fuel line and could not get the top bolt in so, after considering using tie wraps etc I bit the bullet and went to take the cable out and redo it.

So using IID I put it into "mounting" and the motor started and then "BOING" went the car...WTF. Bronze rotor all the way over to the left again (as you look from underneath). Repeated switch operation just spun the rod.

Back to square 1ish. https://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/images/smiles/icon_bigcry.gif

Have tried to send messages and call the guy in Southport, EPB Solutions.
Get no answer.

Have someone been in real contact with them?

I've been to his workshop. He's a one man operation.

He repaired my EPB when the motor died and the gears had started to wear.

He seems pretty busy - when I was there there were several EPB units delivered by post for repair.

It took me a couple of attempts by phone to contact him. I would think around 9:00 / 9:30 or lunch time might be worth trying.
 I see no ships........

And we are back again

I stayed calm, had a look through this forum again for inspiration and I
- disconnected battery
- adjusted brakes for the umpeenth time

Reconnected battery and pulled the switch. A lovely short whirring noise with no flashing lights.

So this is either:
- intermittent module problem or
- the module was upset by extending the brake lines?? Force sensor?? Who knows.

If it happens again I am buy a new module.
