EPB Adjuster

Hi folks

I've been tackling replacement of rear discs, pads and calipers and have got a bit stuck removing the drivers side disc.

I've been following bodsys bible which has been a godsend, but I've hit a bit of a dead end with the drivers side epb adjuster.

The nearside came off no problem after I wound the adjuster downwards but the drivers side won't shift even after winding the adjuster all the way in both directions.

Is there a trick to the drivers side? Should it wind the same way as the nearside or opposite?

Any help much appreciated!

I've now discovered the new version 1.6a which advises to turn the adjuster away from the epb spring.

I've done this all the way but the disc still refuses to budge.

Any ideas?

Sledge hammer time?

It's off!

I'm case anyone else has the same issue, I used a lump hammer and kept hitting round the disc.

After a good few hits, the adjuster would get some slack and let me loosen it a bit more.

20 minutes of that saw it off the hub.

Just giving the shoes a good clean now with brake cleaner and an air hose.
