You want a big boot......

Had this for recent Jaunt in Nevada/Arizona/California (stopped in Vegas, then Boulder, Flagstaff, Phoenix, Lake Havasu, Palm Springs and back to Vegas).

This can take TEN full-size suitcases without flinching just up to window line and five seats available. Four laid flat in two layers and another two stood up in middle, it was MASSIVE!! If you can manage with just a huge boot you get eight full-size (electrically operated) seats.

Car itself was pretty decent, in American usage obviously, would be a bit soft, sloppy and big for UK roads. Well equipped (but 'missing' front park sensors on such a barge....), performance adequate from 3.5 'gas' engine, handling and ride a bit on the poor side I'd say on anything other than their big roads.

Cost wise it had a list price of just under the equivalent of £50k, lot of metal for the money.... Economy was equivalent to about 22-23mpg based on UK size gallon and we paid $3.80 to $4.50 a gallon of basic unleaded (equivalent to £3.50 to £4.15 on a UK gallon....)

Welcome to the Ford Expedition XLT (there are a few on Autotrader, very cheap....)
