Got some from here http://www.toby.co.uk/
You cant get 4 way connectors longer than 150mm ( well i cant find any ) so i got 16 way .I then cut a section of 4 wires ( leaving me another 3 attempts if i fooked up ..but all was well)
I ordered some 300mm one's and 420mm ones , but found the 300mm ones to be ideal
AXO-01264 ( 300MM - 16 WAY)
AXO-01289 ( 420MM - 16 WAY)
You could just get a 6 way wire and cut of 2 of them ..but i thought it best to have some spare in case of disaster G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Any solder should do ...
Why dont you take the wiring diagram into a local electronics store ..im sure they (or they will know someone ) would make it up .
Trust me its a real pain ..the wires are tiny ..so are the connectors .
Someone who does it for a living would be able to knock one up in no time ..they will have all the right stuff
As long as the 2 ffc cables are the 1mm pitch (4 core) at the ends were it connects to the screen the rest can be any size . G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

The resulting circuit board wasn't pretty; imagine if you will a 2"x2" board, charred, bowed, and with one single dry joint covering the entire back and you'll see why I thought I'd mention it.
Can I suggest that any electronics grade solder will do instead Dr. Ian Malcolm:

Me too Wiggs; I had made the same assumption OK, so I can't see anyone else ever doing it again but I thought I'd mention it just to be sure.
So when are you going to link your car PC to the can-bus, register it as a new node and start controlling car components that way? You've gone soooo far in your setup (i'm well envious!) you must be looking for new challenges by now
First off; when the alarm is set, send close window commands to the four windows + sunroof
Challenge includes discovering whether windows are low speed CANbus, LINbus or direct current controlled Dr. Ian Malcolm:

Wiggs do I need one of those GVIF interfaces to get the video on the screen?
http://www.gnetcanada.com/navvideo-models-...er%20Sport
This look like a good way to get free internet. You just slide your sim card into it and then plug it into the USB

If your just using a composite out of your pc and you dont want to add other AV sources ..you can connect direct to the sat nav screen and use the diagnostics menu to view the picture ..you will need some connectors like this
http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic6915.ht...p;start=15
Or get a GVIF interface but get one with a VGA input ..like this
