Fitting driving lamps

I have a set of driving lamps part number XQB500080, and the relevant brackets. I intend to fit them tomorrow, and have read the instructions several times, and everything seems straight forward. Except that instruction 91 refers to look at T4.

Does this mean a trip to the dealers to have the car hooked up to the T4 system for the spotlamps to be activated?

Pardon me for hijacking the thread... I'd be interested in your impressions of these lights. Considering the LR lights or Hella Xenons myself.

I had LR "Safari" lights on my Disco 1, that turned out to be Hella 1000s. Are these made by Hella too?

I wanted some rally giants, but these genuine LR items came up on ebay and I got them for a fair price. The brackets and the wiring loom/switch are the main things, if the lamps are cr*p, I can always upgrade the lamps. Cibie Oscars used to be the rally drivers lamps of choice.

Is this the wiring loom that gives you a switch close to the steering wheel?
Can one get a wiring loom without lamps?

Assuming they're the same ones I've seen working I don't think you'll be disappointed Smile The End
