Bluetooth repeatedly connects and disconnects
I use my LG phone in the car. It worked fine for a few months but for the last couple of months it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting every 3 or 4 minutes or so. The phone jingles and "Phone attached" or Phone removed" is displayed on the car display.
Anyone else had this problem?2008 D3 HSE Stornoway Grey with Ebony Leather, towing a Coachman VIP 575

Have you tried deleting your connection and re-pairing them both?

Try pairing a different phone as a process of elimination ...if it works fine then it will be your LG that has the issue...if not it's your LR 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

jkp - thanks for your suggestion - it may have been the solution
DG - I'll give it a go, but I suspect it won't make much difference.2008 D3 HSE Stornoway Grey with Ebony Leather, towing a Coachman VIP 575

I had the same problem with my 08.5MY HSE and ended up getting the stealer to replace the Bluetooth module. Touch wood, I have only had the thing repeat once in the last few weeks with the new Bluetooth module.

I had the same problem with my 08 Audi Allroad and Nokia E90 Communicator.
Cured it by selling them both. On a mission to find the perfect Pork Pie. Just Found it (I think)..(Yes I have)

Drastic but effective.

True, I get a constant signal all the time now in the Disco, just can't access the phone book at times, but I can live with that. Been to dealers for service - says my phone isn't compatible. Couldn't explain why it was OK for 6 months.
Spoke to LCR centre - said phone signal strength not enough!!
Still looking for a solution folks.
PS Dealer replaced both ball joints - said they were prematurely worn (at 15000 miles!)2008 D3 HSE Stornoway Grey with Ebony Leather, towing a Coachman VIP 575
