Sorry to hop in this - insist that they show you the old filter - somehow these guys do not want to admit that the filter is inefficient for Africa diesel (my opinion).
Got the automatic locking and steering wheel radio controls as a "passifier" on my D3 S after the very first limp mode incident (2000 km old). Erstwhile - D3 S '07. Dual battery system. Upgraded tow hitch. Mantec skid plate. Frontrunner rr. Tmax double headed built in compressor

Yes - up to now. I find their service side OK, but parts shocking. They still haven't come back to me on the spare wheel lowering mechanism - maybe they picked up on their system that I got one replaced by Waterford.
Will in future try Waterford for service, etc - I know Hennie and Jan from early Southern Landrover in Jhb CBD days. Erstwhile - D3 S '07. Dual battery system. Upgraded tow hitch. Mantec skid plate. Frontrunner rr. Tmax double headed built in compressor

Collected on Saterday
Old fuel filter is still in place
They changed the transfer case module and the problem has gone away.
Will go on a longer drive during the week .

Interesting that such symptoms can be caused by a seemingly unrelated module. I suppose this beast is a bit more complex than we know..
I hope you are sorted

I saw somewhere on the forum that the bus has been changed on the newer models to prevent this type of unrelated error message
