Think you will find the 265/65x17 will be the best size, mind you the 265/70x17 seem to have a better side wall.

Fitted the 265/65/17 Grabber AT2, they don't rub at all.
Not sure what AJS means about side wall but I did burst one of my AT2's on the first outing, mind it was a piece of metal which I doubt any tyre could have withstood. 2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

Well I have a set of standard goodyears, only done 1200miles, and now want to change them for a set of MTR's, was looking down the spare set of wheels route, but I guess thats just a waste.
A trip to AJS soon me thinks, are they the ones I see just off the M25 down the A217 on the left?, always seen them, never tried.

As i started this thread thought i better update things.
Have now fitted 255/60 - 18 General Grabbers AT2. Used them on the road and off road at LRO with no worries.
Have fun.

CFB,
The 265/70x17 AT2 has a 115T load rating which is higher than the 265/65x17 AT2, which is 112T, so sidewall is a little stronger.
