Hi Dawn
Had a little laugh at you're post about you're experience of Chipperfield Landrover. Originally when I went to buy my first car from them I was so astonished by the attitude to us lady drivers I again went elsewhere with my money and purchased from Aylesbury.
I informed Landrover head office that I found dealing with the male salesmen there unpleasent and made the suggestion that they employ some female sales people pretty e idamn quick!
So don't take it personally

I like to use Stratstone at Aylesbury.
Always polite and helpful. they will also pricematch a service with any other dealer which I found out during my last visit. saved a few pounds. spent what i saved on a new set of mudflappers though...

Don't see that on here very often I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

I guess it is because I have used them for a few years now. I have dropped into other dealers on occasions but I prefer to use them becuase I have never had a problem.
I suppose I know no different!

Interesting...bought my D2 from Aylesbury, very helpful, good trade in, several warranty things fixed, but would not price match and was not interested in getting the G4 from Bury, even though it had been hanging round for a bit.
I did use Stratstone in HW but that was mainly due to my fellow G4 owner being incredibly helpful (and dropping the car to and from home) - as he has gone to CHPR, my trade may well be moving there as they did an extremely good valet while mine was in for an MOT. Craig

Chipperfield is really convenient for me as I only live down the road - I did my first service with them and I was not impressed - I didn't get any of the Directors 'treatment' but I was most unimpressed with service/attention to detail/billing etc.. etc.. etc...
Needless to say I won't be returning and would recommend that no one else does either. Club V8

Having just taken delivery of our 1st Landrover (LR3) I was going to try Chipperfield as they are just down the road but i won't bother now. Seeing as it's the wifes's car and she works around aylesbury we might try that guy in Bicester- he seems to get good write-ups....
Thanks for all your experiences!
