I've got myself a USB GPS receiver and had hoped that I could save the GPS track from a day out whilst using MS AutoRoute2008. Although it shows the GPS track on the map, I can't export/save any data about it - what I was hoping for to use this to track route I drive and then select waypoint data for future use.
Does anyone know of a mapping software with which I can do this for not only standard road maps but also off-road, tracks and greenlanes - OS maps, that sort of stuff. LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Fugawi global Navigator and / or Fugawi UK Ord. Survey
If you have a Garmin GPS then you can use nRoute (free download) - but it'll only work with Garmin units, not USB NEMA receivers

Microsoft Mappoint saves the GPS trial too. However I didn't find a way to get the data seperated. You can save and print and even reuse the maps again to follow your original GPS track. Roel

It can be saves to MapSource that comes with Garmin maps, then be imported into MemMap as an overlay. I'm not as good as I once was........but I'm as good once as I ever was.
