Nice to have it laid out in primary school terms though - never done it so I didn't realise:-
a. 12 seconds to blast-off
b. need the key in the cap to re-fit it.
I think I would have worked it out but now I KNOW
...and knowledge is POWER 2006 D3 finally swapped for a 2016 D4 Graphite in Graphite grey. No mods

I haven't checked all the LR sites, in the past I found great Vids from LR italy, LR australia etc. I was hoping for updated when I found those and thought great for those that either dont want to waste time reading or just not mechanically minded.
should this site not list such useful vids for us non-mechanical types?? Experience is a difficult teacher, because she gives the test first and then the lesson afterwards!!!!

My remote keys both fail and also the manual way (as shown in the video) brings no result. The door stays locked. Does anyone have a clue what might be wrong?

Joost - a flat battery? What does the third button on your remote do/not do? (Mine puts the headlights / reversing lights on - a good way to check for a non-door-lock function...
Andrew
PS - Anyone! - How WOULD you get in if the battery is 100% flat? 2006 D3 finally swapped for a 2016 D4 Graphite in Graphite grey. No mods

OH, yes!
But if it's programmed to alter the suspension height, since you need to get inside to put the hazards on before it WILL, then you can't use it to check the battery performance of a VERY locked car!
Hence my question - what does the third button currently (normally) do?
