Instrument Cluster Light
Can anyone advise me on what the instrumet cluster looks like at night ie.what colour it creates etc. A general sense of how the cabin intruments feel like as a whole at night would also be interesting. I read somewhere else about 'blue light'? Sounds odd! Any pictures would also be appreciated.2017 Disco5 First Edition(On Order)

Its Green light. Looks OK at night, although the sat nav can be a bit bright. The sat nav dims itself to the ambient light level, but takes a while to settle down.

Many thanks all, pleased to see that there are no blue lights (refered to in an article I recently read). Is there a dimmer switch to increase/decrease the intensity of the light?

There is a blue/white led light infront of the interior light ( Small black hole)which lights up the centre console. Try putting you hand over the hole with the lights on at night. I think it is called waterfall lighting.
[Corrected version!]D4 HSE

Disco duck, is this blue light a courtesy light that you turn on, or a light that is permently on when you have the side/headlights illuminated?2017 Disco5 First Edition(On Order)

the water fall lighting os on only when side or main headlights are on. dims with the instrument lighting too.
can't really see the point of the waterfall light as its not that effective unless you drive with the instrument lights on full... and this is too distracting for me.

It looks like a great and interesting review... if only they did an English version on the web.
The Toerag got a bit stuck I see and seemed to be still there when it got dark
Love the picture of the VW doing ballet on that pile of stones and the DISCO3 doing high speed cornering !
Martin... one of your university dons must know Russian and could translate for us !! Maybe just the interesting bits and not all the stuff we already know.
