Same to you, I am guessing it is slightly warmer on your continent. It is freezing here to start off 2009.

Not a week, yet.

Heine,
being in Jefferiesbay, at present I am only 5 days out. Waiting for surf and better weather. We are nevertheless rather "happy" waiting out the break ...

How's Moz, Discoeast (Willem, I presume). Want to head that way this year Thumbs Up

Down on KZN Southcoast - weather pattern: 1 day overcast (warm), 1 day thunderstorms (warm), 1 day sunshine (moerse warm) and this get repeated - so daily programme: drink beer, drink more beer, drink some serious beer Thumbs Up

Outlook for trips in D3 this year not so good - my oldest son in matric - so some serious studying awaits.

Might do Central Kalahari last 10 days of July school holiday and that's it. Planning mother of trips for the extended school holiday in July 2010, though - when soccer world cup is on. Hope our neighbours do not increase fees even more to catch all the foreign tourists Neutral

Any serious trips planned for 2009 Question Question

Laughing Will do - leaving from Pennington. Will be in an Atacama sand D3 S.

Though I'm going home via Ixopo and Underberg to pop in on an old mate in Himeville. Will be stopping for a light amber refreshment in the Himeville Arms. Will rejoin the N3 at Nottingham Road. I can avoid the traffic and get some great scenery in Thumbs Up

Compliments to all from Namibia. We were overrun by SA vehicles this year. It seems Nam is definately on the map at the moment.

Will be doing Kgaglagadi in March - my first time and looking forward to it.

Back home safely, without incident, except.....

T-y-ta Prado on N3 overtaking all the traffic in the left lane which are doing 120km/h, then drifts towards the left, driver gets fright or wakes up, swerves to the right and end up rolling on the middle verge.

Seems like it is not only the Foretuners that are prone to roll-overs Twisted Evil
