Better quality globes

I have replaced 5 globes (rear brake/light combination) in as many months on my D3. These globes are very cheap, but obviously do not last.

Surely one can get better quality globes (locally) that will last longer without going the halogen/led route ?

I've found the OEM LR ones are the best. Cheaper (and even more expensive) ones often come with the two filaments too close together, which then short.

THey have worked well for about a year now. Pity I can't state the same for the interior and marker LED's
