"Front Park Distance Aid Error" |
|
At first I thought I' induced this with some of my modifications, but I've just been out and tested with my box of tricks unplugged and I'm still getting this error. I've polished the sensors that I can see, but there are two more hidden behind the bumper (due to winch fitting). Just how much of the front of my D3 will I have to dismantle to see the hidden sensors? Is there anything else I can do?

hose down the visible sensors, most likely that road salt has crystallised in the apertures - don't jetwash, it only needs a few minutes per sensor with normal tap pressure. Ultrasonics are by nature, self-cleaning, the more cr@p that's in there, the longer it takes. Helping the process with a hosepipe usually reduces the process to two or three activations before they're back to normal
