Front Runner does the rack with table as well - you have to ensure that you purchase the rack with slightly longer legs to accommodate the table, though.
I modified mine to slide in and out from the side as I had fitted an antenna mounting on the rear end - works wellErstwhile - D3 S '07. Dual battery system. Upgraded tow hitch. Mantec skid plate. Frontrunner rr. Tmax double headed built in compressor

Hi Discoest
The table dimensions are 1150 mm long 750 mm wide and a thickness of 25 mm with the legs folded. When you design your table, carefully measure the length of the legs so that they are compatible with the height of your camp chairs - otherwise you might find yourself eating your dinner with your legs behind your ears
I have attached photos of the padded channel that the table sides into, the folded table legs and the retention clip.

Now I know why I get these strange looks when I eat by the
camp fire
Doc, that's good news on the table thickness, as I have 40mm
gap to work with at the lowest point to the roof glass. I'll just
go and buy a table and fab the brackets. Good pic's

FWIW rather make the table from stainless . Ali tables under a roofrack don't do well

Hi All,
Thanks for your feedback.
Like you, I find Docs table storage interesting.
Returning to roof racks, however, I don't think I'll be going the "African Outback" route as I can't find a distributor in Oz.
For the others that have replied, I must say that, while your answers are refreshingly honest, your decisions don't seem to have been very discerning.
There seems to be a history of wind noise with the Front Runner racks, so I'm still scratching my head as to which direction to go. There's no hurry, so you may hear from me on this topic again.
Best Wishes,

Peter
showing good judgment and good taste is a problem in this part of the world as you noted.
some of us (are) like , if closeby and we follow -- tomorrow there may be none (suppliers of roofracks), I meant
Mostly, though we are not indecisive and do we not around
