Safety Alert
Just had a major incident on the rig which is still going on as i type. We have just lost two boxes of chickens overboard, a look out was posted but he quickly lost sight of the chickens. It's believed that none of the chickens survived mainly due to them dying of hypothermia, they were frozen. The fast rescue boat was launched but to no avail. A full investigation is underway ( I kid you not) and safety alert has been issued
WWF will probably monitor the areas wildlife for salmonella poisoning.

Which rig are you on Pete? I got guys on the RG5 for Total at the moment up there, but not much else in the NS right now. We're part of Weatherford now, after yet another buy out
How do chickens fall overboard - was it during a replenish?Previously:

It sounds like the are over egging it I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

Is the steward concerned now referred to as a bar steward on the rig I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

Nothing surprises me in this industry The 'guilty scapegoat' will probably be charged with polluting the marine environment Previously:

With the help of the D3 forum I have managed to put together an update for the Management, will I still have a Job I ask myself. Here is a copy.
CHICKEN INCIDENT UPDATE
After an extensive search it’s believed that the chickens have had their chips. There is no fowl play believed to have taken place it was just a Cockup. After incidents like this are a s scarce as hen’s teeth. However we have free range to get to the bottom of the incident without of course over egging the pudding.
The people who were involved are helping with the henquiries even though they may be left with egg on their faces.
Of course disciplinary action may ensue. Some people may think this a hard boiled attitude and nothing to crow about but we will stay sunny side up.Club Pie n Pea
