WTF are you lot up to now....??
I don't log on for a day and miss fights, fall-outs, potential site closure and what sounds like folk acting like bawbags...
....see the good times have returned.
Just off to open the first of many bottles of corona, then fully intend to start a "what's in your glass tonight?" thread later on
Do you think I should get some popcorn for later ?

OK, liked the wind up, like the new look D3/4 site.....but why did I start reading the D4 posts first
Completely missed this thread as I've been too busy today
But, for what it's worth:
Martin: I like the new lay-out, it would have been a great shame to loose all this valuable background knowledge.
Everyone else: please, please, please - lets put all this bickering and the snide remarks to one side and get this site, and our banter, back to what it was a few months ago. It would be a shame to loose the input of several very helpful members..LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.
We need this site. After all, where else am I going to be able to borrow a trailer with one tyre at 5psi, one at 9psi and a wheelbearing that seizes on the A31, partially melting the tyre?
Ah, Dom, sorry, forgot to tell you. It will need a new tyre I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
That's more like it LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

i can see the need for the disco4.co.uk domain name been bought as Martin has done
But i personally don't think the disco3 site need to close, the car is very complex, and the members on here have a huge knowledge base which has and will be called upon for many years to come.
I bet there is plenty of owners who still have a first edition D3 on the driveway, and plenty of brand new D3 owners who are planning on running the car for the same amount of time.
Since the D4 is just a reworked D3, re-branded for whatever reason, the need for Disco3 knowledge will still be required, just under a D4 guise
unless the lack of sleep i am suffering from at the moment I have got the wrong end of the stick and the site will be just renamed, to go with the LR D4 flow
