I found this significant, given the problems with DPF on the Jag XF:
Quote:
To support the new model introduction process, all 3.0 TDV6 derivatives will be fitted with a Diesel Particulate from Job 1. Please note that this feature will not be charged for. From 17th August, production will revert back to 3.0 TDV6 non-DPF EU4 engine, although the DPF will continue to be available as a chargeable option.
Also, min rim size on all 3.0TdV6s is 19" and maybe the SE will come later on?

Oh bother. Does that mean that if I want a September delivery I'll have to take the DPF? Is this some hoop through which LR must jump in order to qualify for EU5 compliance (in a type approval system), or is that calculated on longer-term production figures.
Anyone care to guess D4 build time from order to delivery for a purpose-build car?

I have 4 confimed spec's ready to take to a dealer. I have a couple lined up so far.
Really need 10+ to get more to get the ball rolling.
I want one, I need to start working on SWMBO, I can't wait until next year.

The premium between XS and HSE looks hard to justify. I would be tempted with an XS with added Xenons. Who the hell wants TV cameras.
