Schizophrenic Navigator Voice Commands

My voice recognition system worked fine for about 3000miles, even after it was upgraded. Recently, it stopped recognizing my voice. Now, it switches between English male, female and American female without my changing input and it rarely recognizes my voice. True, I've insulted it a few times, but I don't really thing I hurt it's feelings that much. Any idea about what is going on?

Im surprised you had any luck with the voice recognition to begin with! Shocked
I gave up on mine on day two. Sad
I realized that it was less frustrating to just use my finger!! Very Happy

The only real thing I find advantageous about the voice recognition is when I want to change tracks on a MP3 disk with lots of tracks. "CD play track 45" and I am amazed at how well it works.

Navigation works just fine, but you do need to set it for the right language, which from memory seems to be in 2 places - dealers don't need seem to know about that either. Wink

Suppose I had better not mention that the Airbus A380 has today taken off successfully - rather makes the Boeing 747 look out-of-date Wink

I have the voice set to female british. It is an excellent voice. I think my wife is even jealous of her. The british male is quite the wuss, however.
