HDD off road could shatter. Maybe a SSD instead would be a good idea.“There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

Blimey! A joke doesn't half lose it's impact when it has to be explained.......
There is only ONE slot for the MULTI CD player, they've said they put 6 CD's into ONE SLOT, therefore Winger says it must be broken.
When we all know that the 6 CD multichanger is a SINGLE slot feed mechanism, only it just has the SINGLE slot to feed them into & the mechanics behind it put them in the 6 CD carrier positions....
i.e. it's NOT BROKEN.....
OK OK, so I too was incorrect in my statements.....
At least we know now!
Interesting point with the SatNav being HDD though..... Anyone know how big it is? Perhaps it could be replaced by SSD?Bodsys Brake Bible

Thank the Lord that this endless debate appears closed...........oh, and did you know that you can only connect a single USB storage device at one time
I think the moral of these several pages of drivel, speculation and conjecture is that LR have finally moved into the 21st century, and recognised that the way ahead is USB storage/iPod music sources, and that a single CD player will suffice for their upgraded models....and that the FFRR, which is now old in the tooth and old technology, still has to offer a 6-disc changer as most FFRR drivers probably don't know what an iPod is, let alone how to connect and use one in their car......

I thought it was a DVD?
HDD travel much faster and are very interesting when they brake when spinning. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

Apparently the HDD floats in gelatinous fluid, tethered by small titantium threads. These hold the disk in place, but allow small amounts of movement, protecting it from even the roughes of bangings. The case of the HDD, if anyone is wondering, is ebony coloured.
