Also if you have a fairly slow connection the upload will time-out. Try reducing the size and upload one at a time for now and see how you get on. 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

The 7MB is a maximum limit applied to the size of each file you're allowed to store in the gallery.
Files with a smaller file size than this can fail to upload because there is a maximum time the gallery software upload script will wait for file(s) to be uploaded (so that server memory and processor time is not wasted), and your internet connection speed and the size of the file determines whether the file can be uploaded within this time limit.
The problem is that digital camera resolutions (and therefore filesizes) have progressed much faster than internet upload speeds, even on broadband. You'll be surprised just how slow your broadband connection really is at busy times of the day if you're on a DSL service, and ADSL is many times slower to upload than download.
The solution is to upload one file at a time, and to resize them BEFORE uploading - this tool integrates very well into the Windows right click menu and is completely free (I use it for exactly this process): http://phototoysclone.codeplex.com/ 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
