Ok so i got my D3, and will need its 60k service around Christmas time !
Car originally supplied by Taunton, but Yeovil is about same distance for me to travel.
I have experience of Yeovil from my D2 days and were always good.
Was thinking of trying Taunton to maintain the history, however (I know its petty but) Taunton just made me up some number plates (Cherished Transfer) and the rear ones were appauling (On the cock)
I know its only minor, but just gives the wrong impression on £20k worth of car, ud think they would take a bit more care ? Is this sloppyness reflected throughout the dealership ?
They have promissed to post a replacement but still waiting !!

Ian's right;they are the same group, but then consider the disparity in the Feedback for Stratstones.
I'm biased but why would you not take it to Yeovil? How many posts have you read about Taunton? Now compare that to the number and content regarding Yeovil.

To follow on from Dr Lex and Bodsy, they are a both part of Helston Motors who own stacks of dealerships of every persuasion in the West Country:

I've never used Yeovil for service but Taunton is nothing special in that department. They may be fighting the LR reluctance to repair under warranty the EPB and other brake related components. My new D4 will be serviced either at Exeter or Yeovil.
Sales staff are good and finance department is on the ball.
Good luck,

Yeovil without question, its all about that extra mile Nick and the team goes to, let alone the help, copious amounts of coffee, and STILL a better price than any other dealer in the area. After Yeovil, and only cos your in the area I say Yeovil, cos I would use TFC.

Why not have a chat with the service manager at Taunton and tell him why so many people travel half the country to meet Nick, Peter, Douglas and Keiron at Yeovil. Everyone loves a challenge
Then book it in at Yeovil I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Looks like a resounding + for Yeovil then !
Unless TFC covers my area ? Just emailed him about having DVD screens fitted in headrests at same time as having a service, so may make more worth while his travelling ??

TFC is out the office now for a while whilst in Tunisia so he may not respond straight away.
