No scroll when typing in 'message body' box.
A most odd one..
When typing a new topic or reply in the message body box (as now), when I get to the bottom, ie box full the page does not scroll and my words of wisdom just disappear off the bottom and out of sight? Only way I can see them is to scroll down with the scroll bar, but as soon as I type again it all disappears off the bottom again...
Any thoughts as having to limit my replys to a page Off Roading is OK.... But I'd rather be Boating!

Hi Martin,
Exp 8. This has been happening for a few weeks now so assume my end, not yours! Seems most odd. Seems to do it if you do 2 returns to make a empty line?
The lines below take me to the bottom of the page fine, but after I have inserted the blank line the rest are off the bottom of the page and cannot be seen??

I have made some minor changes to the site layout in the last 2 weeks, so it would make sense that I've broken it.
However I can't get IE8 to do the same here (at least on XP - are you on Vista?)06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

XP.... Sure others would have noticed if your end. Have just had another try and it only does it if I insert a blank line in after I have filled the message body box. If no blank line then it scrolls as I type as normal. Mainly comes about as tend to put a blank line before a picture link or website link...Off Roading is OK.... But I'd rather be Boating!

I had the same issue and you need to run the website in 'Compatibility View' which should be an icon next to the URL bar at the top of IE. Bodsys Brake Bible
That's done the trick!!! Cheers Bodsy, can now join a few others and paste pages of !!
Assume it's a IE8 problem then?Off Roading is OK.... But I'd rather be Boating!

Yup, seems to be an issue on IE8 (cant remember if I had the problem on IE7 though....)
Bodsys Brake Bible
same problem here using ie8, but was about 6 weeks back. Compatibility view sorted it. I blame the shonky web designer I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Same here since I upgraded to Win7 X64, assumed it was a 64 bit issue (yes, i'm aware IE8 defaults to 32 bit but i've been running IE in 64 bit mode) doesn't happen on other sites though

The site shouldn't need compatibility view to work - as I said I can't yet replicate the problem in my install of IE8.
