Ahh sorry , ive had a full day of beta stuff today and CAN logging my brain is fryed and not working any more lol.
I think tbh its a worthy conversion, im not sure of the factory price on the D4 so i cant work out if its best to buy with the car or as a mod/upgrade afterwards.
But i do know the D3 wheels are cheaper than the D4 ones by quite a few quid, so i recon well worth it on a D3 for the cost.

The price for the factory fitted heated steering wheel on the D4 was £107.66 (when VAT was 15%). It was only available as an option on the XS & HSE however - not sure if there is any technical reason for this or whether it is just marketing.

I then think in the case of the D4 if you have the choice its best to get fitted at the factory because the cost of doiong it afterwards is a lot higher than the £107.66 option.
i cant see it being a problem fitting the aftermarket kit to the GS models tho.

Look forward to hearing your price on this one, it's the one thing I miss from my XF, and people laughed at my heated steering wheel in the summer....
Might try to have it fitted same time as the Remap...
Any news on that yet, Prices and Specs???
cheers

That looks brilliant!!
I didn't even notice the tiptronic paddles at first - are they an option on the D4 or are they off another LR vehicle? (Sorry for the noob question). Life is not measured by how many breaths you take, but by how many moments that take your breath away...

Heated wheel is a great option, use it all the time at the moment. Why would anyone want the 'tip' No offence but can't see the point of it on a Disco

The paddle job i a totally new steering wheel paddle switches and i think a new set of wheel switches all from the RRS.
Fitting is simple really and no need to disarm the air bag etc etc, it will however need diagnostic attention which i will be offering soon.
The paddles makes the car easer to drive than it already is, its superb for fash accelerating in S mode instead of using the command shift.
Each to there own i supose.
