There have been a couple of HP pump failure here after recall work where the dealer failed to get the tension right. Caver - agree. If the stealer puts too much tension on the belt - it wears out the front bearing. Also, if they replace just the HPFP without replacing the whole fuel system - after a major failure of the HPFP - it will need to be redone. Don't ask me how I know!
