I also have Tonga Green and am looking at a tint; dark smoke but not Limo. I'd be interested in any shots of Tonga green cars that have been tinted.
According to insurance companies, this counts as a modification. When I asked my insurer about any additional premium they quoted me a mere £160 per year! (Almost the cost of the tint).
Have others bothered to inform insurers, or just got on with it?
(Wish I'd never asked, naturally). PAGODA

This may be a silly question but does the tint go on the inside or outside, I ask this because I am thinking of having mine done but as I carry my dog in the back I wondered if he would be able to scratch it off. Thanks Chris.

It goes on the Inside,
As for the dog "And having one myself" i know the damage they can cause and have to say that "YES" the dog will damage the laminate / vinyl whatever it is, i know some are resistant to the odd scrape and scuff but if i,m honest i know my little f@cker would be through to glass given the chance, i keep mine in a cage !
i think its easier and a whole lot safer.

Just in case anyone is interested, after a phone call to LR Customer services today the tint on standard factory privacy glass is 30% and it is applied from the B pillar back.
