Cheap delivery options

Handy if you want to ship stuff regularly.... get the couriers to bid on delivering your goods. If nothing else ...it give you a tool to barter with your regular provider.

You also need to check the level of Goods In Transit insurance if your sending high value items.

Also check what happens if your delivery point isnt in, will they provide back up and at what cost.

Proof of delivery???? Tracking details?

Just a bit of friendly advice.

Personally I couldn't be bothered asking for bids each time. I use a online courier that saves all my details, I just input delivery address. Same bloke comes every time and he knows if we are not in where the parcels will be.

He also meets me at local LR dealer to swap parcels over Thumbs Up

Good advice Dave Thumbs Up If you look at this randomly selected courier off the site you can see that they have an opportunity to state insurances etc and you can also see their feedback.

It's not for everyone ...particularly if you want the stuff moved immediately ..but I do think it gives you an idear of what the market rates are.
