Hatchbag reviews...

I have a hatchbag on order to go with my half-height guard and barjo gate, but I'm seriously considering going for a Transk9 box instead.

Anyone got the hatchbag kit and care to comment? I had the 'up and over' covers for my D3 (fabric outer, not poly), and they were good initaily, but eventually rubbish (dog hair and snot everywhere!!).

I have two weimaraners, and although they have short coats they are working gundogs so do get messy. I have a new D4 and they haven't been in it yet Whistle

Would love to hear your thoughts Thumbs Up

Barjo are good quality, I have one in the Fl2, but you are better off with a cage, be it Transk9, Lintran etc. The reason I feel strongly is not because they keep your car clean, but in the event of an accident they keep your dogs same and contained If you have the choice go for a box every time Thumbs Up

I have a hatchbag in my D3 and think it is fantastic.

It doesn't come away from its velcro mounting no matter what the dog is doing, it fits great and underneath is spotless.

Obviously it cannot offer the protection of keeping the mutt in a box, but then a box doesn't have the flexibility of the hatchbag which can be folded up and left in the boot should I want to use all 7 seats.
