Mine is going in on 22nd for its makeover - though there isn't much that hasn't already been done. The whole process is done in the day.
Perhaps the most interesting aspect is that they called me; the tone of the call was entirely different to anything I have experienced before - if this marks a shift in approach to customers, then this is very good news.
Winger, was that Yeovil LR? If so, you may get another call. I've just dropped mine in for the update and a first service, and I was told that it would be unlikely to happen, as they have had problems with all their own cars that they have upgraded.

Mine goes into Taunton tomorrow for enhancement recall
Stuck in the garage at the moment park brake won't release . Assist have advised me to pull the park brake "rip cord" to release the brake manually in order to get it to the dealers
Just hope this loom and software update sorts my repeat park brake faults otherwise the supplying dealer will be having the car back !!!
3 assist call outs and 5 dealer visits in 4900 miles is not on

Mine went into the dealer on Friday with "Low coolant level" problem. Header tank got changed and enhancement been done. I feel that the engine revs more freely and it has more power in 50-70mph range, I am not sure about lower fuel consumption yet....
Air compressor has to be changed (mine is very early model - Oct. 2004), it will take two weeks to get the part as they has to order on VIN number (they tried to preorder some compressor, but was told it has to be tied to VIN number).

Has anyone in the UK had the 'enhancement' done yet?
I rang my local dealer and questioned the 'enhancement program', they checked the registration to get the VIN and confirmed mine was covered under the program! and have subsequently booked it in.
My D3 has got no major faults and I am more concerned that the car may develop some after the dealer visit!
Any thoughts, opinions?
Some say the glass is half full. Others that it is half empty. I say 'Are you drinking that?"
Emphasising that it wasn't a 'recall', they mumbled about updating the software to make the car 'better' but couldn't elaborate. I guess I got the receptionist...
They also wanted to book me in for my first service- I tried to keep a straight face when they told me it would be £379! Time for a hunt through the recent threads for a better quote, methinksDiscovery 3 tdv6 7 seat Buckingham Blue
Had it since new - sold Jun 17 after 12 years and 214,000 miles

I'm picking mine up this evening; the compressor failed to make it past the upgrade procedure on Monday and has been replaced Will find out the details on collection. (KL - first service performed at the same time was quoted as £250)Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana
My car went to the dealers today to have a dodgy door lock looked at. I also asked them to 'install' the Infotainment patch.
They rang later to say car needed new door latch but no stock. They then went on to tell me that they had carried out the enhancement programme. I asked if it included the Infotainment patch and they said yes but, as my Nokia 6230i still doesn't work in the cradle, I re-read this thread thoroughly and discovered they were telling me porkies!
I'm also very upset Nick from Turbochip visited me yesterday and TC'd my car. I got to enjoy it for all of about 1 hour's driving but now Land Rover have overwritten it with their enhancement and there was -all wrong with my car in the first place
Must say the car seems a bit better for the ECU enhancement (though nowhere near as good as having another 50 horses and 120Nm of torque feels) but as for all the other stuff, can't see any difference at all.
Will get them to do the infotainment thingy when they get me a door latch and will have to get Nick to come and do my TC again !Now an ex-D3 owner after 7 happy years. Miss the car but not the big bills

Need to give it a proper run tomorrow morning. Many of the software upgrades had supposedly been done previously, though I am not sure about the transmission ones.
Compressor valves changed, and the suspension movement is much "sharper" than before. The compressor is quieter too.
Will report back after throwing it about a bit tomorrow on the school run.

collected mine yesterday after enhancement
lost pre cool and pre heat functions but they never worked anyway!
engine seems to have more torque at low RPM making a smoother gear change from 1st to 2nd (manual box) lost that "die or fly" characteristic.
park brake lights also staying off

My assessment is that the vehicle is much improved.
Suspension is taughter, and better on roundabouts. It responds much faster to height adjustments and the ride seems smoother.
Performance is certainly improved, and so is MPG; the consumption appears to have improved by about 2-2.5 MPG based on a run that I regularly do - essentially mainly B roads, and far from steady state driving, returned 30.6 MPG, running on Mr. Morrison's finest. The engine sounds smoother and quieter, too.
New rear wiper arm is a major improvement.
