Currently sat in reception at Str Bury whilst they fit new pads front and rear. Barry has been splendid as usual and gave me an unbeatable price. I'm grateful to this site for pointing me in this direction. Its not often you get such quality service anywhere these days.

Peter,
Gives a £££.
Just got the warning light this morning,
Read the threads, do I do myself, or stealer??
It would give me chance to try a new dealer as i've had enough from Copley

Goodfella,
All D4s are out on the 19th but they have a nice Mondeo , skyblue with white leather lined up for you.
Phil,
Give Barry a ring. They just did mine but it was under warranty so i dont know how much it should have been. They did an excellent job. Having read these threads re EGRs now, i am of the opinion that if (when) they go again I will get them blanked off.

Stratstone Bury, are these the people that told me to take a screwdriver to open my fuel filler door, oh yes they did
As said before their attitude of "We will completely 100% shaft you for price to ridiculous levels, but if someone else offers it cheaper let us know and so will we......can we have your business please" is a non-starter for me.
Won't get a penny more from my pocket......but for balance did some recall work and were okay.

Maybe it would be a good idea to rate the service department seperately from the sales team? This may be a way to get sales to catch up with service and vice versa.Club Exped trailer

Just done mine, front & rear pads, £60.
Took me 3 hours!! Would have been quicker, but the f ing sensors fell apart in my hand! So spent over an hour trying to bodge.
Will have to get new ones on Monday, by which time i may have grown a third hand to get behind the wheel arch liner. What ever happened to the fixed sensors on pads, that unclipped @ the caliper? worked perfectly for years. The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. Well mine is in today for what will probably be the final job under the Tesco Finest Warranty , having 4 wheel alignment done eventually after a suspension repair a couple of months ago, having read a recent thread on here I'm dubious as to what the results of that will be but I'll be asking to see the print out and I mentioned 'tight tolerance mode' like I knew what i was talking about . Thank god they didnt ask me anything about it .
Anyway, I have a brand new Jaguar XF Coupe courtesy car from Enterprise as they had overbooked on their loaners. It's mint and a very refreshing change to drive. Hoping they don't finish mine today!
It's all good so far though from Stratstones Badda bing.......How you doin'?
