My car is (according to dealer system) due to be built w/c 5th July, unless the build date is brought forward again.
So, does anyone know for sure if this will be based on 2010 MY or 2011. An what the is the awful change that is going to happen - surely they're not going to change the name from Discovery to Bungee or something Thoroughly enjoying my landrovers in the southwest.

Usually the production of the new MY starts mid-August, after the factory reopens following the summer closure. I suggest, therefore, that you can be sure that it will be a 2010MY specification vehicle.

My 08MY was built in July.
And yes, it definitely is an 08, and yes it definitely was July.
Not certain of the exact date, but think about 15th? Long succession of Disco's since 2001...
SIII Lightweight - neglected & rusting. Bulkhead, A panels, vent panel & outriggers now disintegrated - Next years project!

My HSE is scheduled for a 20 August Build. Told it will be one of the first MY11.
Ordered it early May. Expected delivery isn't until 26 October though. Must be a very slow boat to Oz.
So what else is different? Mine is going to be Fuji White apparently. Discomaniac

I made a note that today was the day when the MY2011 press release was due out but I can't see anything. Anyone know when it's all due to be confirmed?
