Fog lights and MOT
If i put a bumper off an HSE on my car which as the fogs but don't wire them up will my car fail MOT test even though i already have standard fog lights? (don't ask about bumper long story concerning A bar)

AFAIK - If fitted - must work.

Kin el that was quick thank's. Next question then. The conections already their will they work from existing fog lamp switch?

they would not work with std switch got to get proper one

Reet thank's for replys Anyone know parts no's for new light switch and the wiring i need from plug under O/S headlamp to fogs?

Hey Ron good idea mate thanks i aint got my thinking head on today . Think the will be coming out for MOT
This was the first mod I did to our 2005 D3 Basic. All I needed onto of the lamps and bezels were the bumper loom and a headlamp switch, part number YUD501220PVJ. about £20-25 at the time.
Be aware that if you have a basic coil sprung one, you will have a headlamp leveling adjuster on the headlamp switch - you will not get on of these combined with front fog lamp included as LR never made such a vehcile.
The answer is make sure you headlamps are adjected correctly before the MOT

If this is front fog lights, then they are not part of an MOT test at all. So they can be fitted, but not wired up, or wired up and only one working and you won't fail as long as it is the front fog lights
