Does anyone recommend replacing the cam tensioner bolt on the HPFP belt? The Kit I bought from AF didn't have one.

Yes these should be changed, you need to ask for them when ordering.

For some explicable reason the OEM cam belt kit doesn’t come with them, not worth taking the risk not fitting new, they need adding to the order, I don’t think the weakness is in the use, it’s the amount of torque needed to undo them after they have been on for seven years, my cam belt tensioner took well over 24NM to undo it, probably nearer 60NM at a guess.
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Auxiliary belt tensioner is it safe?

Hi I need some help! I am just getting to the end of replacing the oil pump and belts when I noticed an uneven gap between the halves of the auxiliary belt tensioner. I have looked at the photo of one on the AF website, it looks similar but I'm not sure.

Thanks Andrew.

I thought that would be the case.

Cheers
