I'm laughing ridiculously!
I have trip and LR envy looking at all those pics of Morocco. Having recently returned from Iraq with an all expense paid "trip", courtesy of the US Army, I have a better appreciation for your checkpoint experience. It's definitely a "cultural thing" with them! You chose wisely - the sandstorm over the local national!
