Sorry - should have clarified.... The last image is just a load of noise on the screen with a green band across the bottom.

Maybe its not there. car was built March 2010.

Any one know if it can be turned on using the MSV2 Question

well would you know it ! After 11 years it now works. Very Happy interestingly it did not work at first but I tried again with the engine running and it worked.
It now works without the engine running Must have woken it up. Thumbs Up

The only thing different over the years is I did a hard reset last week but this might be a coincidence

What have I done?

While looking at the info in the Secret Menu, I came across an option "Touch screen Test". Of course I pushed the button.

Now my screen has gone white and every time i touch it i get a small green dot where my finger touches the screen. Trouble is, I don't know how to get out of it.

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks for the speedy reply.

However, after leaving the car for a couple of hours, all was back to normal so suspect that when it all goes to sleep every goes back to how it should be.

I think the idea is that it calibrates the touch screen. The idea is that you touch the dot as it comes up and once you have pressed it it then moves to a new position. It will do this several times in different places and then complete the calibration. It's essentially lining the graphics up with the touch screen, improving accuracy if you find that you're not getting the response from the screen that you would expect.

Thumbs Up
