Hi Deon, and welcome!
As far as I have been told, nothing that is not embossed with the words "land rover" and fitted by your dealer is approved...
BRS claim their dual battery system (which I have fitted) is approved, but I have yet to see the paperwork (will try remember to quiz Karl about it)
Look in my gallery for the towbar and dual battery. I bought it from BRS, but maybe frontrunner also have it now. Look at Aubrey's posts - he seems to have the most mods in SA as far as I can see.
Front Runner (would have probably been Bobby you spoke to) will replace any parts that are harmed by their kit, and i don't see what effect it could have on the vehicle anyway. I can vouch for their roofrack. I can also recommend BRS, their service is great, so is their advice.
Talk to me or Turbochip about tuning your vehicle for max performance and minimum smoke

LRSA does not have any in SA. If not supplied and fitted by LR ... not covered.

Thanks guys !
Baben, your pic reminds me of my Khwai river crossing last year with my Defender - I see it has made it in the May edition of SA4X4. If I had the Disco3 then I would've had second thoughts !
Aubrey, would love to see your vehicle with all the extra's

Hi Deon
Yup you are sharp-eyed! We were indeed in the SA4x4 with that pic.
For the record, I was the guy with the tattoos standing in his undies on the river bank. We had just recovered a D2 driven by the same mate who is joining me to Luanda. The driver in the river crossing was Mrs. Baben. in fact she drove van Zyl's and all the "fun" stuff. I wonder how many 1.65m 50kg (gorgeous) ladies have done that?
Aubrey - will definitely post images if they fit it in time. I did post the tank info & pics already, just waiting for the full install.

BRS Towhitch
Hi Baben
Is it possible to purchase the BRS Towhitch in RSA? Where? I do quite a lot of long-distance travelling on tar roads lugging a large trailer and would not mind if the departure angle is even worse as long as can get the trailer's nose higher.
By the way, those Coopers look great on the Disco.

BRS offroad - speak to Karl +27 118344951
Highly recommended for the towbar, and dual battery system.
The departure angle is much better than standard. search on my posts or have a look in my gallery, or meet me for a beer with Heine at the Baron someday soon...
