iphone 4 cradle
Anyone know of any powered cradles that will hold the iphone 4 with its bumper on ?

I use a brodit cradle with the LR iPod kit but have to take off the bumper.

Even the apple manufactured audio dock connector doesn't fit in the iPhone4 with the bumper on!!!

I've been looking everywhere for just this. No joy. Brodit seem to do every combination except this one. DCOM do a good looking powered cradle - not with bumper though.
As far as I can figure, there is not an active mount that fits an iPhone 4 and even those cradles that are around are not a neat fit for the D4. Brodit seems the best but it mounts far side of the console. But... I've an almond interior and the clip job only comes in black.

cheers guys - just wondering if its worth waiting and hoping one comes out or go for the brodit and naff around taking the bumper off each time i go in the car !

Actually Brodit manufactures a dock for iPhone w/ bumper. Look at their website www.brodit.seD3 LE James Cook, 2,7 TDV6 auto

I use the LR ACM and it works fine, the only thing i have noticed is that it will not charge the iPhone 4 unless the battery indicator shows less than 3/4 full , it also fits with the rubber bumpers too. 110 XS Utility

stumpy is that with the new cable?? My kit is couple of years old so needed new cable from TLO, now sorted.

It's the old cable the one with the Ipod cradle, all you have to do is carefully mod the cradle so the phone fits, it does sit a little loose but I'm working on that one, the iphone 3 fits and works the same way too i'll try to post pics in a mo..110 XS Utility

You need the new cable from TLO . I did that and my 3GS now charges.TDV6 HSE Lux (2014MY)
