Nothing out of the ordinary from memory. Should be around $400 unless you need front rotors & brakes...
I'll check my receipt at home tonight What's the point.... it all comes out in the wash anyway!

Just dropped mine off today for 72,000 / 3 year / End of Warranty Service. Apparent it's not the big service but not the small one either.
This is my first since owning the car and I am using the local dealer as this is the end of warranty. I think I may have a bit of front end slop so wanted it all done tickety-boo as car was previously dealer serviced in VIC so has clean record.
The quote for the service was $790 + change brake fluid (3 years) + change air filter ($70 if necessary) + wheel alignment ($150 & recommended).
Not sure what the quoted $790 includes as the basic price!!!!!

Final bill $996 with brake fluid flush, no air filter change and the replacement of one rear damaged mudflap.
The next service is the 'little one' - can't wait!
The original $790 does include wonderful things like a pollen filter ($102.66), diesel fuel treatment ($15.25), engine flush / treat ($15.25 whatever that is).
Steering wheel was replaced with brand spanker new full leather smooth style under warranty, so some small compensation!!
I will post separately about another interesting warranty issue that came up.

Hi Perthdisco,
My recent 72km service cost $348.75 + the following
$98 (oil)
$24.8 (workshop sundries)
$62.02 pollen filter
$15 brake fluid
(ex-gst)
I also had my front rotors changed and pads al around so the total was much more but these were the basic items from ULR in Melb. Sounds vastly diff to your quoted prices (102.66 for pollen filter!!) What's the point.... it all comes out in the wash anyway!

I should add that I have the V6 petrol so could be diff because of that! What's the point.... it all comes out in the wash anyway!

Probably best if I don't try too hard to understand why as I am sure the answer will be sad. There should be an Emoticon for touching your toes to better describe these situations!
The strategy was to attack some end of warranty issues so no other choice in Perth. After this may consider non-dealer options.

They really should ask about the fuel treatment and engine flush before carrying it out, that is not part of any service I have seen. Is an available extra at most dealers though.
