I just went out and checked.
My aux input at the back of the centre console is wired up.
There is also a second connecter, wrapped in foam, and just floating behind the plate. It is green, the same as the aux connector and has the same coloured four wires going into it.
What is the other connector for?? Have a nice day!

If there's four wires, it could be the A/V input...

Is it a 6 pin connector with only four wires in it? is the wiring single wires or a screened multicore?
There's only one connector shown on GTR in that location that is green and that's the one that should already be connected to the AUX input PCB....

I went out and checked and took a phot, but I've forgotten how to upload photos' so when I remember, I'll post a photo. I'm not getting an Upload Photos option in my gallery.
There are actually TWO unconnected female type connectors behind the Aux plate. Both are identical. Both are ten pin connectors and each has five wires connected. Both these extra connectors are green, just like the aux one.
I'm intrigued to know what these are for .
TIA Have a nice day!

Thanks 10, you're a champion!
Would that mean I've got the gear installed for heated seats and just need the switches, or does it mean that I've just got the wires set up? Have a nice day!

have a look under the rear seats, chances are the connectors are there, but I doubt the seat elements and thermistors are.... other than that, the addition of a couple of relays and fuses should do the trick

Re the heated seats - i've checked my base 7 and the wiring is there for the heated seats. Leading on from this does anybody have any idea of the part numbers for the thermistors and elements and on/off switches?
cheers![/quote]
