Whenever one of my aux sockets blows, it is generally because one of my kids has stuffed a coin/other metal object in there

Discovery 3 mid row aux input |

I have a disco3 base level with no aux input in the rear of the centre console, althought there is wiring behind the blanking plate, I've bought a aux input part from lr part no:- XVO 500020 but the cabling doesn't macth any suggestions.
Do I need to buy anything else to make it work with the radio?

There are 3 sets of cables behind the blanking plate, from reading other forums I think these are for the heated seats if fitted and the 12v supply. If this is the case how can I link the aux input to the radio

Solder into the wiring in the passenger footwell or from the back of the Head Unit? “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€
