Honest John's real name is Peter and much of his "knowledge" is auction gossip. How honest is that? Whistle I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I have heard about D4s in UK dealers with their bodies off. From this I presume that it is for turbo replacement.

Having had the turbo go on my D3 (first car in 25 years of motoring) then I would be nervous about buying a D4.

Certainly an item to check is covered when extended warranties become necessary... 2006 D3 finally swapped for a 2016 D4 Graphite in Graphite grey. No mods

Now I can not buy without worrying about it, whereas I was going to not buy one and lose sleep over it...

PS wouldn't mind trying out the special Towing Terrain Response set-up though.... Has anyone been cheeky enough to take a caravan along for their test drive?? Very Happy 2006 D3 finally swapped for a 2016 D4 Graphite in Graphite grey. No mods
