Im racking my brain on this one and Im sure there are two similar symptoms...one was the smm fix as in the tsbs which was tried first, the other was about selecting reverse and then going back into drive before the mirrors had fully dipped (when you selected drive they would go back up assuming they had started at the fully dipped position and so end up too high) - which I still had after the smm was changed. a subsequent software update of some sort fixed the issue, Im sure it was part of or just before the update program.
Confused

Mine is on and working perfectly.

(NB tip: Ive recently set seat memory 3 to a normal seat position but with dipped mirrors for those times you are going forward but want to see clearance as you take a tight turn past a low object...e.g. bollard which is close to your vehicle. - nothing to do with mirror dipping but a usfull setting)

Hmm not sure about that DD, mine seem to stay low sometimes. It is not a repeatable 'feature' and I have had a new SMM.

Like your idea for SM position 3. I currently have mine set to 'layby' postion. Thats fully back and reclined Wink
