Hi;
I was wondering if anyone has experience with installing DC-DC Dual-D250S CTEK.

Do you think there might be some problem when installed in D4? . I read that the alternator has changed, and now there is a sensor on the negative side of the main battery.
Help, please!!

That c-teck reg is for dual (ie alternater and solar input)
Are you using it for van battreies?
If so you should try and keep it as close as possible to van batteries (in van) so shunt or sensor in D4 will not be a problem.
If using it for second battery in car make sure you use the negative stud on body not main battery terminal
I think it is a good idea to not use main battery neg terminal for any thing
Hope this helps Cheers Ken

Have a look on the AULRO.com.,au site and there is an extensive thread on connections there
But if you connest to the battery it will not give enough voltage to charge extra batteries, there is some sort of shunt between neg terminal and body, maybe same reason to not jump start to neg terminal but to stud
Cheers Ken
