Broken Drivers Armrest
Leaning across the front seats and I have broken the drivers armrest Anyone else done the same thing? Is it a difficult job to replace it? Dealer states 1 hour at £120.00 inc. VAT Not unreasonable but if I could do it myself so much the better. Any ideas???

Budweiser, that seems reasonable I would say, although surely it is just the armrest you need and you could fit it as you say as the fixing in the seat frame is robust. Maybe eBay? although I cannot see any at the mo. Your broken armrest would be ideal for me as I don't need it to operate, as long as the body is still intact I would buy it off you to help you offset the new one (as long as it's black)

"What is the first rule when overlanding?"

I did the exact same thing myself a few months ago, new one from TLO - fitted it in half an hour no problems.
Just need a T30 Torx driver/bit to undo the centre retaining screw, then lift it up to about 45° and "wiggle" it while pulling it off the pivot.Clive
