pti with nokia 6230i is there a cure

has any body and yes i know it's been round before got the problem with the nokia 6230i and the cradle fixed as i can't get mine to even recognise the phone is in the cradle, also how do i check what patches or uploads have been applied to the car

Fraid you will need to go to the dealer to get the cradle to work with the car kit (they may try and charge but many on here have had it undertaken foc)

As Ken says, there is a software update for the telephone module. You may get charged.

If you vehicle is only a few months old, you could try to argue that it should have been installed when you got it.

It works perfectly once you get the software update. I use mine in it all the time now. Was charged €50 for the update on my 1 year old D3. IE - 05 D3 TDV6 HSE - Zambezi Silver

Thanks for that guys, i only picked the car up on friday even though it is 6 months old, so will just act daft when i contact the dealer tomorrow and see what they have to say, as they new it was a 6230i phone the cradle was for and could have done the software update for the PDI

update rang the dealer and they said yes there is an update for the cradle but only for the nokia 6230i (lucky thats the phone i have then isn't it) and yes bring it in and they will install (no Mention of Money/Payment)

so booked in at 14:00 today for the upgrade. Very Happy Tintenter
