Buying a 4 pot diesel over a 6 cylinder BMW is a bit like getting noshed off by Kelly brook through a glory hole.
If the wall wasn't there you could knock it bandy in every position, but as it is,you only get 10% of the fun "you cannot teach stupid people to do clever things"

With the current winter weather predictions I hope you don't regret it, value of used D3/4 will rise again, not to mention rear wheel drive BMW's are one of the worst possible cars to drive in snow!!
I reckon you will be bored with the BMW very quickly but if it suits you then good luck 2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto
